There is a legend about Spinel. In 1398, Timur led his cavalry southward for expansion. In Delhi, India, as a victor, Timur received many treasures from the defeated nation. When a large red gem appeared before him, the king immediately ordered his name to be inscribed on the gem. From then on, this red gem witnessed the rise and fall of the empire, passing through the flames of war. It wasn't until the 17th century that mineralogists discovered this vibrant red gem was a spinel. From that moment, spinel ended its "hermit" existence and became known to the public.
