According to legend, during the Song and Tang dynasties, there was a place called Baishi Long (White Stone Dragon). On the mountainside, there was a huge white stone that was as transparent as snow. In the scorching heat of summer, being near this stone would make one feel cool. On nights with a moonlit breeze, the stone would shine with radiant light. Because the shape of the mountain resembled a dragon soaring into the sky, the village was named Baishi Long. This great stone was, in fact, white crystal.

In Greek mythology, white crystal is said to be the frozen tears of a fairy. As one of the Seven Treasures, white crystal is also known as "Mani Pearl." Its pure, transparent color gives it a unique cool and noble aura.
