Sunstone, generally found in semi-transparent deep orange-yellow, golden, or golden-brown hues, occasionally appears colorless or transparent. It has an appearance reminiscent of old copper, with fine fibrous inclusions inside, resembling golden thread candy that requires careful observation to notice. It is classified as an opaque crystal, with the best quality being brightly colored, semi-transparent, and featuring inclusions that sparkle strongly. High clarity and transparency are rare, and generally, the larger the crystal, the higher its price and greater its collectible value. Depending on the inclusion quality, sunstones are categorized into two types: black sunstone and golden sunstone. Black sunstone, typically containing hematite, has a darker color and a lower market value. Golden sunstone, rich in hematite inclusions, has a vibrant, bright color and often exhibits a cat's eye or star-like effect, making it more valuable on the market. Golden sunstone is considered superior, with black sunstone being less valuable.
