Initially named "Hollandine," it was later identified as a member of the garnet family, specifically Manganese Almandine. Due to its bright orange hue, resembling orange soda, it was dubbed "Tangerine Garnet" and later renamed Fenestrated Rock. This stone is the birthstone for January and symbolizes warmth, vitality, and a joyful, optimistic outlook on life, like the embodiment of summer sunlight.
