Over a hundred million years ago, the Hukang Valley was once a lush rainforest, with various tree resins flowing and accumulating underground. Through tectonic movements, the land subsided and transformed into an ocean. These resins also sank to the ocean floor, and after millions of years of fossilization, they turned into the amber we see today. The beautiful organic gemstone, amber, was formed due to tectonic activity millions of years ago. Among amber, blood amber is a variety with red or deep red hues, resembling the color of wine, and is exceptionally beautiful.
